Who We Are

Founded in 2011, Plymouth Rock Creative (PRC) is an intellectual property company that creates, develops, and packages content across multiple platforms for sale or license to third parties.

PRC focuses on content development in the areas of publishing (print and digital), television, film, and digital entertainment. PRC creates high concept ideas that appeal to a broad cross-section of entertainment-hungry consumers. PRC then fleshes out these fictive worlds -- and the characters that inhabit them -- creating compelling scripts, artwork, and distinctive branding for each property.

With comic book properties hotter than ever in both film and television, PRC has chosen to focus on the medium of comics/graphic novels, generating significant content in the sequential space. With dozens of books complete and dozens more in production, PRC has created not only a conceptual library, but a physical one as well.

The PRC library of content features over 150 individual properties, varying in genre and format, and includes properties already in development within Hollywood. If IP is king, PRC has a rich and diverse kingdom.

PRC content creation and development goes beyond its own company-controlled concepts. Co-founder Jason M. Burns has worked on internationally-recognized brands, including Sesame Street, Fraggle Rock, Richie Rich, Casper the Friendly Ghost, the DreamWorks Animation stable of properties (Shrek, Kung Fu Panda, etc.), and also Jericho, which he wrote as a graphic novel and which was named to the New York Times Bestsellers List. Burns also wrote and developed the hit comic book series Pocket God, which was based on the best-selling app by Bolt Creative, and became the top-selling digital comic title of all time. PRC’s co-founders Jason M. Burns and D.A. Harrison are published authors with over 75 published works between them.
